Before I was an accountant, I trained as a mountaineer in the Indian Himalayas. I spent years on the wall and on real rock, and I know the pull of a place where everyone knows your name and no one cares what you do for a living. I even built a business out of that world once.

Then I moved to the UK as a qualified ACCA accountant, and gave everything to the profession. Holdfast is where the two halves finally meet.
